Greg Christofferson (OnSite Solutions Manager)
Greg has been working at Cornell Univ for the past 5 years and has been managing the Onsite Solutions program since its inception (July 2005).


Eric “Doc” Nobel
Eric has over 21 years experience with electronics and computers. He has worked as a data systems technician in the US Navy, troubleshooting and replacing circuit boards to component level. He has been at Cornell for over 14 years working as a network administrator and in backline support for the CIT Contact Center (HelpDesk). His certifications and professional memberships include:

  • FileMaker Certified Developer (FMCD) (pending)
  • FileMaker Solutions Alliance (FSA) Member
  • University Information Security Forum (UNINFSEC)



  • Michael Rumsey
    Michael has more than 10 years experience working in technical support, networking and programming. He is proficient with Mac OS, Windows and Linux, and is currently working towards several professional certifications, including:

  • A+ Certification (pending, CBT Direct)
  • Network+ Certification (pending, CBT Direct)
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE Pending )



  • Larry Backman
    Larry has been an IT Consultant for many small to medium size businesses throughout Tompkins County over the past 9 years. He is technically proficient in Windows and Linux and is currently working on mastering the Mac OS systems. Larry’s certifications include:

  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer NT 4.0
  • A+ Certification
  • Citrix Certified Administrator



  • Michael Neville
    Michael has over 12 years of experience working in the IT field, holding positions that range from help desk supervisor to desktop support technician. Mike is well versed in providing support for the Mac OS and Windows platforms.
